do you have any comments/knowledge about a society in Islamabad. it called Ministry of Interior societ in G-16. I bought a plot like 5 years ago.

That society is still undeveloped, even I have a plot in that society but i don't think its wise to sell your plot at this stage as market price is very bad for that society unless its absolutely necessary, however G-15 prices are quit good.
Last time when I visited G-16 its like KHUNDER as it was a year ago, no development planned as far as I know, but you can hope for some thing positive by end of this year or beginning of next year as G-15 already has possession so chances are high in next year that this society will start doing some progress. Once this society got NOC its good to sell your plot as in first month of NOC the prices will be double than current but don't wait too long to sell your plot once NOC is issued, as you know its GOVT department so it might take another year to start some development, in the mean time invest that money in G-15.
I would be thankful if anybody else can share info about G-16 if there is any (HOPING)

Once NOC issued the price could go up by 50% to 100% in month frame and may reduce if waited too long after NOC as development phase may take another year to start because of being GOVT project, current price as far as I know (but could be wrong)is from 15 to 18 Lacs for Kanal Plot depending on location, but you will hardly find a buyer at this stage.
G-15 Kanal plot price is around 35-40 Lacs (could be more by now) so after getting NOC G-16 price will be 15 - 25 % lower than G-15 kanal plot rate, and will reduce with time afterward if no development starts after getting NOC and chances for no development after getting NOC is also high.

In D-18 I can tell you a much better society than AWT. That is Engineers Cooperative Housing Society (ECHS). Fully developed with possession, all infrastructure complete, some houses under construction also. |
