I know this topic is not relavant to this forum, but I just wanted to know something, UAE residence visa will be given if some one buys property in UAE (either Ajman / Dubai / Abu Dhabi etc)
Does any body have any uptodate information on that? as one of my relative who is moving from US want to settle here ASAP but some one told them that its not possible to get residence visa if you buy property in UAE, i don't know is it right or wrong gossip.
if any one who can confirm about this, that will be appreciated.

I have confirmed info about Ajman that they are not issuing any property based residence visa. In fact there is ban on renewal as well. Not sure about other estates. |

Yes sbaiq is right, There are no Visas attached to property of UAE it is now 100% Clear. The property is called freehold it means any one could buy but there is no visa. People had been getting visas on Ajman and Dubai properties, this visa was for residence only you could not work on that, but now it was made clear that no one holding these visas will get renewal.
Now Dubai and Ajman Govts are telling that developers told lies to people and they warned the developers to clarify to buyers about this status.
[But as matter of Fact this is long story there are some disputed aspects, Confirmed status is same as mentioned above] |

I hav just come to know that there is slight change and visa may be issued on case to case basis. in fact some one got it just a couple of days ago. however, it is tru that developers are asked to take this from their advertisement about visa avilability. |

Still UAE ( ajman in particular) is great for investment purpose or rental income which is highest in the world at the moment. |
