How to check plot coordinates.
I am based outside Pakistan and I am planning to buy a plot in DHA Phase 6 J Block. How can I know whether plot is west open or the direction of the plot. Maps on DHA website do not give plot direction/orientatioon.

Go for Bahira Sector B for Five merla and can build your dream home today. As plot cost starts from 9 lac onwards and rest you can spend to have a gray structure. |

Dear Asad sb I would suggest you buy Bahria Town Sector C 10 Marlas plot (Not File) or you may go for a 10 Marlas DHA8 X-Park View File. You may face little delay in DHA but one day you'll feel proud and thank ALMIGHTY ALLAH for choosing DHA.

Asad sahib in 2 Million(Rather much less, @ Rs13.75 Lacs app) you can buy a DHA9,10 ONE KANAL file but it will take too long to develop. No decent society offers one Kanal in 20 lacs.
In Bahria Town Sector C you can find any excess area plts, more than 10 marlas. BUT NOT ONE KANAL dear sir.
Wait for some expert opinion for guidance, as I am not an expert and may be I m missing any good point! |

Go for DHA Rahber, Khayaban-e-Ameen, NESPAK-2, IEP Engineers Town - all these are developed socities on Defence Road, Lahore between Raiwind Road and Ferozpur Road, suitable for good living in a moderate budget. |

i will also add my part in this conversation and i will say if u want to buy one kanal plot in 20 lacs may be u will find but it will be very middle class society there will not be gentary.dont go for quantity but for quality.i think in 20 lacs u can find 14 marla plot in lake city its very neat cleane society second option is park view and third is bahria. |

Hi Asad,
I think Better you check some options in Wapda, Valencia and Izmir town even you need to add 1-2 lac add this amount. Because these societies are safe. You can check also Nespak society phase -2 site-1 beside Izmir on canal. Its a phase of nespak society and a lot of houses are under construction now. I think you can easily found 10 marla plot in not more then maximum of 14-15 lac but if you need to get near to city then better check valencia! may be you will find a plot after a bargain. Bahria town is very far. If you are getting something good and near to city why to buy in Bahria. Keep Bahria as a last option.

We have been listening discussions about comparison of D-12 and G-13/ G-14. Almost every one was speaking in favor of D-12. Now we can see what D-12 looks like today. Have a look at G-13/ G-14 as well. I wish someone brings recent picturs of these sectors. I can tell about G-13 where 10~15% houses are built and another 10~15% are under construction.

Dear Umair,
This is the general perception in Islamabad real estate that
G sector are for general public
F sectors are for 1st Class
E sectors for for executive class and
D sectors for Diplomat's
The prices of plots and houses proves the above in every existing sector too
Sector G-13 is ahead in the development as it started 4 years earlier then D-12 but lower in price and difference in price will increase further in coming years. |

^^Not necessarily.. There are certain plots in G-10/G-11 which are equal in price of F-10/ F-11. Take example of G-6.. Compare the prices with F Sectors.. U'll be surprised.. as far as D is considered there is no previous CDA sector which comes in the D series.. so making assumptions that D belongs to diplomats is not right.. G-13 is fastest developing sector developed by reputed FWO.. no doubt about that. |

The sector close to Margala Hills are expensive then an other and Prime example is E-7 .
Even the subsector of sector close to Marhala are costly then remaining. D -12 is will be the 1st sector of this series and only time will tell where does this stand. The lay out plan on D-12 is very impressive and big house of high profile people along the Margala hills can make it even impressive. Close to GHQ is also a plus point as security concern. |

In One stage six MNAs out of seven were ministered from Rawalpindi ( Ch. Shameless Sheikh Rasheed stayed in power for more then 30 years but till today Nala Lahi washed away when ever there is heavy rain. they received lots of funds from many countries and particularly from Japan to fix this issue but constructed their empires, Farm Houses and no remedy to the issue, even more encroachments so rain can make further worst so they can make even more money.
This nala Lahie is a pain in ass from the last so many years and you are so innocent believing them they will make elevated road.
Lets take revenge from all of them as we had from Sheikh Rasheed and not to vote for any of above and seclect new leadership and vote for Imran Khan party |

Rip Off Rest Area
On 25th September evening at Motor Way Sail Mor rest area I bought a bottle of 500ml Pepsi form kiosk, Shop Man on the kiosk charged me 40 Rupees for this 500ml Pepsi . No price list was on display. When I inquired the shop man about the price list and overcharging , Shop man replied that it is with the permission of Daewoo admin.Then I went to Daewoo office and met with Mr. Kazim Raza Deputy Manager and told him about the issue .Kazim told me these shopkeepers are habitual price offenders and he can’t do much about this. aoa all.
why are ventilators not made in the latest buildings.They can be very helpful in cooling the rooms.
I have found that reverse exhaust fan can throw very cool air from outside and sometimes as efffective as ACs in cooling the rooms without much electricity consumption.

Perhaps ventilators required higher ceilings, the initial cost would obviously increase and so also the dimensions. Continuous pouring in of the dust will be another source of headache. |

asad, probably you want to achieve economy as a result of "free cooling" as i understood. but the method you are proposing is quite impracticale and can't be adopted on even smaller scale due to many reasons.Even if you go for it, it can offer you respite from heat for a shorter period only and is quite a temporary arrangement.
Already this "free cooling" concept is being employed in today's latest HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) designs. In today's energy scarce world, the core objective behind designing the latest HVAC systems is energy efficiency. To start with window a/c, if ambient is low outside, just open the shutter of fresh air intake and get the free cooling as desired without your compressor being on load. Talking about central a/c system, use of enthalpy sensor in economisers help you achieve the same goal, ie free cooling during the time when ambient is low. |

Small split ac are as cheap as an exhaust fan.
Ecnomical solution would be ventilation without exahust fan and that can b acheived by design of house and location of its windows. As a thumb rule cross ventilation keeps house cooler and odor free.

other then main road no plot is worth-it of 1.9 million, mostly plots are less then 1.6 Million. Last time when i visited no development was happen, only some plot given possession which are closed to developed area, but main problem is the approach. Anyhow still if you get some plot with-in 2-3 years everything will be fine (Hope so). But i also heard about no interchange closed to forminites. I was also looking for the plot and also found a plot just back on the main road for 1.475, but my target was 17 for main road, which i couldn't get.
Ps: i visited that society 1 month back. |

Not much have changed there in past few months. I have no info about litigation in C block. Some time it takes 1 to 2 years and some times it takes 20 years to get LDA litigations cleared. |
