Dha islamabad phase 2 extension
I would be obliged if someone could intimate the pros and cons of this scheme right from the scratch as there had been no discussion on it on this forum; why there has been so much difference in prices whereas no map has been issued and no base/reason for different prices.

It was launched n 2005. Development has been recently started but at snail's pace. Its location is behind Phase 2 and adjacent to DHA Valley. The pros are its DHA and prices are low as compared to other phases of DHA. The cons: development may take many years, location is not prime, there is bit uncertainty in DHA Islamabad projects.

What may be the expected time of ballotting of dha multan and what price of cash file of one kanal may be expected at the time of ballotting. Thanks.

Most probably in next year it would have a balloting, you can expect that it would be near 60 Lacs at the time of balloting.

I disagree with Mr.Mubeen. Probable balloting next year shall not be for all cash files but only for perhaps one or two smalls blocks. Overall balloting for all files will still take time. Regarding cash file price if all the files are confirmes to be ballotted the price would be almost 70.

If plot is not allocated against file then what would be the expected fate of price of this file.

Some day plot will be allocated to the file so fate is not a question. There is no more loss in DHA multan now for cash files in future.

I think my query was not clear: I mean to say that at first instant of ballotting if plot is not allocated what would happen to the price, say 70 lac; would it remain the same or would fall appreciably below 70. Thanks

70 is the average estimate because the ones getting plot numbers will immediately gain more and the rest waiting for balloting will be in 70s range. Anyhow, I dont think it will take more than 3 years to complete balloting of all cash files of phase-1 to allocate plot numbers. By the end DHA needs money and once installments are paid, the only option would be to collect it through development charges after releasing map and balloting of plot numbering.

Exchange of land
Dear Khalid Javed, you had attended the AGM sui gas phase 2, please enlighten me with the agenda item as "exchange of land"; what does it mean, which land is to be exchanged and with whom for what purpose; will this exchange have any effects on already allocated and positioned plots. What are trends of prices of property/plots after the deposition of PM. Any keen observer, pl share and oblige.
