I visited the new airport site in july 2009.
CAA is carrying out Slow but steady groung work. They have asked PECHS to give them one of there road to have more access to the airport location becuase previous access was not enough for heavy trucks movement.
I belive if will be couple of years before we see real difference.
In my openion only PAF tarnol is an active socity in the area others are plaing waiting game.

Restoration of Judges - No news of any change
As salamualaikum to All
Since 1 month has passed, our CJ Mr. Iftikhar Chaudary is restored now along with his team of Judges.
As was expected that there will be Judiciary as of Nov 2, and all laws passed after that time will be void, but no action has taken place since then :
1. Corruption is still on rise
2. Cost of daily used items is rising
3. Use of expensive vehicles by the Army and civil servants is going on
4. Islamabad club, Lahore clubs and Karachi clubs are all full of functions by the corrupt
5. WAPDA, PTCL, and other government agencies still demand their rates for doing the work
I think Mr. CJ has now the free hand and he is restored without making any deal, so why he is not doing anything.
MKS replied on Monday, April 20, 2009 04:29 PM PST
He himself was sacked for using protocol more than what is allocated for him.
It is on record that he use to have many official vehicles under his personal use incl. Mercedez.
He use to have order local govts. for provision of helicopter for his personal tours.
BTW, I only remember one law from 2 Nov. and this is NRO!! and he will only revoke it when he has gone mad.
Imagine if he revoke every law made after 2 Nov. than both Zardari and Sharif will go to jail and before this happen they would kill him.
I think we people of Pakistan does not have enough qualification to analyse the situation so we must hire some professional as our head of state instead of voting one out of ignorant mass.
What about hundred of musheers dakhila, musheer finance etc. etc. why are those being hired when we have to blame civil servants and army at the end of every thing! |

How come you forgot this filthy NRO, the biggest injustice to this nation ! |
Innocent Pakistani replied on Monday, April 20, 2009 05:00 PM PST
How innocent we arr, do you really think he was restored without a deal? No way! NRO forget it he will never touch it. He will shake the tree for few months with making statments, just to save his face and the "party time". |

Dear Friends,
Forget Iftikhar chaudary,he can not do any thing any more. The water is gone above our shoulders and now we can not breath.India,British and America has done what ever they want to distroy pakistan by injustice and distribution of wealth into few hands, who can buy bullet proof cars for million dollers when poors can not get a piece of roti. These millions of poor will be and already joined into Taliban as pathan, punjabi,Ballochi and Sindhi Taliban. They are kept intentionally illiterate,so that they dont know what is right and what is wrong.Killing muslims and even kafir is not allowed in islam but who will stop them.Peaceful pakistan of 80,s is gone. |
sbaig replied on Monday, April 20, 2009 06:25 PM PST
which peaceful Pakistan of 80's you are talking about? I remember during Gen Zia era I used to go to NWFP especially Peshawar for my official duties and there were bomb blasts every now and than. We were so scared and had instructions from our Head Office strictly not to go public places etc. We used to stay in guest houses instead of hotels. Time keep on changing but may be not for Pakistan! |

The only change that took place after the restoration of CJ is that Supreme/High Courts declared unislamic through an Islamic Fathwa released by Sofi Mohammand, the Chief of Tehreek-e-Nafaze Shirat Pakistan. |

The comments I have seen show that we don't recognise and see faults in ourselves and we always want others to make everything all right for us without reconsidering what is wrong in ourselves. We should change our own behaviour, and instead of just blaming others (often without any sound justification), we should try to do whatever we can to resist the real wrongdoers, and control our own temptations of doing wrong things.
The restoration of CJ has just a symbolic value as the CJ has got the justice, as he has not become victim of the powerful wrongdoers, rather got justice for himself, giving the people confidence that they can get justice as well and wrongdoers cannot succeed all the time.
We should also know that CJ cannot change all of us overnight with a magic stick. The character of our nation cannot change overnight, its a slow evolutionary process. Its a non-sense to expect that CJ can change this country in a month or even a year in presence of several mafias in this country, given the fact that we all are still doing the same whatever we had been doing before the restoration of CJ.
We should forget about finding a leader "Jo ungli say pakar kar hamain kamyabi ki manzil par pohncha dey" We as well as our System will slowly change, but only when we start resisting the wrongdoers, and control our own temptations for our personal gains. |
Ifti replied on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 09:42 PM PST
I appreciate Salman Jamil for his writing, actually we all are ourselves wrong doers and always blame the others. Question here arises; who is bribing our Police and other officials. The answers is; we ourselves. So people must understand. Nobody can change a nation, if this nation doesn't want to change itself. God may give us Hidayat. Aameeen! |

Dear Friends,
I'm a regular visitor of this website but very sorry to say that all of my friends here have nothing to do except to discuss people, you don't have good plans of action what you can do for betterment of your country instead objecting peoples & praising your favourite politicians. I always remember below quote while reading your remarks that
"Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people."
