From the analysis of prices of all locations, particularly in Lahore/Panjab, it appears that the price hike before the budget of 2017, was artificial and was not in line with the economic situation of the country and also not in accordance with rise in inflation in that period; the inflation being too small as compared with the exorbitant rise in prices. With the tight measures taken in budget this game was stopped and with some relaxations thereafter people were allowed to escape from this so-called business by paying some money to the public exchequer : some slight rise in prices in some societies during the preceding months be attributed to some greediness associated with mankind; the temptations for greediness were provided by the stakeholders and still such practice is continued. In my opinion the game is over and the properties which are at artificial high prices are bound to come down at the realistic level and it may take 5 to 6 years.
Please think on this critically, without any bias, and furnish your comments.

People usually don't sell at a loss. Prices may not come down but will stay stagnent for quite some time till inflation catches up or rupee is devalued significantly.
Anyway, there will be no growth in future. Only undervalued areas where people can build houses will see some some activity.
@Observer, please don't call anybody loser and respect other people opinion. By using mean language doesn't prove anything.

Jis mulk mein suzuki cultus 14 lakh ki bikay gi wahaan property kaisay sasti hogi.
Ya cultus ki bhi price artificial hai?

things practically r different than it is viewed....trends,,, based on the indications r quite positive n will be more on the upward side in the coming days....especially after eid.price apprecition is largely dependant on the development within the particular society and development of its surrounding infrastructure.moreover,there is likely change in terms of tax relaxation being considered in the forthcoming budget too.will surely give a substaintial boost in the poroperty prices...........its gaining a strong mometum.just keep observing the prices and compare after 2 to 3 months with the present prices.

Cant say prices will go down, up or stay stagnant but in the long run a parallel increase in purchasing power of common man is required, all LRE users and other big investors inside or outside the country are not going to construct all plots they have invested.
increase in prices due to change of hands among investors is like a double shah game, which is good initially but not in the long run.
Hope we will have a good economy in real terms in coming years IA.

A . population growth rate
B. Buying power
C.Foreign buying
D. Development aspects
These are just a few,basing on this my humble assumption is that prices may see an appreciation in select societies by 25 June 17. These few societies are for you to select.This is just my thought , please make your own decisions as I am no estate agent. Regards

One may search daily price list of LRE. Prices are stagnent or have come down in some areas like DHA extension kanal file has come down from 67 Lac (in January 2017) to 57.50 Lac (today price).

Some other areas has shown downward trend and but not in such cases where 100% population exist and Lahore Infrastructure is increasing the demands and attraction for non-Lahories.
