Operation against land mafia, LDA retrieves property worth PKR 2 billion
Lahore: In a grand operation launched against land grabbers, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) retrieved possession of 25 kanals of land in Sabzazar, reported a news source. The structures built on the land with an estimated market value of PKR 2 billion were also demolished.
The retrieved land is a commercial plot that was under illegal possession for thirty years as the land grabber had set up an illegal car parking stand on it. The LDA Enforcement team carried out the operation, in which many officers participated. After getting possession, the LDA has also constructed a boundary wall around the plot.
