Salam All.

I have 30lac to invest anywhere in Lahore but only for around 1-1.5 yrs (short term).

Which investment would provide the biggest short term return?

Please advise. I look forward to your responses.

get them coveted in Euro ( risky but you can have better return ) or British Pound Sterling in which you may gain not loose. Property will not help you as sale / purchase transfer expense and commission you have to bear and perhaps no gain in such a short period of time.

Better to Buy one kanal file in Multan for one year time.
Other option is DHA Phase 9 Prim R Block 5 Marla Plots

I know its difficult to predict, but what increases would you anticipate for both multan and ph9 lahore?

Also, why are you recommending block R in ph-9 specifically?

Dear Osman, in my opinion,only property can double our amount within days.As you want reasonable return after 1.5 years ,short term investment.I think Bahria Orchard is the best for short term as bahria town is going to hand over possession in Dec.2015.It has v good potential in near future.It is situated near Lahore ring road.you can buy 8m plot in C block in 30 lac ,then wait and see only one year more.Rest depend on you.
