LDA Avenue 1 Lahore Possession Details

Housing development: Owners get letters for LDA housing scheme



Plot owners and allottees have been advised to verify their plot numbers from the website after receiving notices sent by the LDA.

Owners of more than 6,000 plots in Lahore Development Authority’s Avenue-I Housing Scheme have been issued letters of possession. The authority has announced that it is handing over possession of 7,000 plots. These plots are situated on 69 per cent of the housing scheme area that has been cleared so far.
The authority said that electrification; construction of roads; provision of water supply and sewerage systems’ and other services had been completed in this area.
A one-window cell was established at the LDA’s Johar Town office for this purpose. A site office was also established to figure out the demarcation of plots on the land.
The authority announced that it had retrieved more than 1,600 kanals land in the housing scheme from land grabbers and encroachers during the past few months. It said more than 1,300 new plots had been created on the land. Development work has begun on these plots.
Physical possession of the plots will be transferred block-wise. The LDA has uploaded lists of clear plots on its website www.lda.gop.pk.
Plot owners and allottees have been advised to verify their plot numbers from the website after receiving notices sent by the LDA. Owners have been asked to visit the one-window cell on the first floor of LDA’s office on 467-D-II, Main Boulevard, MA Johar Town. The procedural formalities for this purpose will be completed in one day.

Once I worked in GOVT office. I saw there one PA who used to copy any document which was passing near to him even he had no concern. Actually he was preparing file of current boss to present his future boss. This is style of working in PK and now you can analyze future of LDA avenue. It distort after Mushrif GOVT as Shabaz Shrif moved avenue budget somewhere else and now who knows when what happen and what will be effect of PA file to new boss

LDA AVENUE 1 POSSESSION OPEN FROM 31TH MARCH 2014

Lahore – The LDA (Lahore Development Authority) has announced that it will start handing over possession of plots to the LDA Avenue 1 allottees from 31st March, 2014. Possession of plots will be provided on 69% clear area of LDA Avenue 1.The body has also granted a building period of three years to the owners of plots. Applicants are required to deposit a processing fee of Rs. 10,000 per kanal for getting possession. LDA has advised the defaulters, who have not submitted their dues so far, to settle remaining charges by 30th June, 2014. Failing to do so will lead to the cancellation of their plots.

Air Avenue 10 merla plot is 40 to 45 and , LDA avenue 1 is 11 to 16 Lac ,But LDA avenue 1 still is unable to give possession, There are still many areas in litigation, It is Good investment but no peace of mind,

LDA societies are notorious for poor Management and Qabza Mafia
Not good development
and Not good Facilities
too much slow progress,
when this site was Launched 7 years back many innocent holder were very Optimistic and most of them wanted to complete house by 2007, But time proved that LDA avenue was worse than Johar Town which already had under performed .
However finally LDA will emerge as a good Town but all the areas will not be good. There will be much uninterrupted land and encroachments. some area will be good but cant tell at this stage
And worst thing is no reliable time line can be given.

I am new to this forum and i found this very much helpful.As i am planning to come back to pakistan by the end of this year and i want to do some investment for the purpose of house construction.Last year i have visited many societies and found some of them good and make a decision to bye a plot in lda avenue 1.I want to know about the latest condition of this society and price range of 1 kanal and 10 marla plots in good blocks (clear block-- litigation free)
plz advise me and guide me if there is some other good option within this range.

Next time some may ask they want to build a boundry wall around their plot from their Zakat, because it is not safe to leave it open....

I have a suggesion, this may be questioned in Punjab assembly.

Simply write an appeal to Chief Minister of Punjab and give copy to Raja Riaz or other opposition members with a request to raise the issue in Punjab assembly.
You don't have to spend fortune or zakat money!!!!

LDA Avenue 1 Lahore just put up his proposal for use of Zakat money in this affair. When the proposal did not find favour, he has not insisted on his proposal. So why to keep commenting on the same aspect. So for Allah's sake stop commenting on Zakat aspect & keep the discussion limited to the real matter i.e. how to deal with the matter of litigation area plots in this scheme.

I'll share my case of what happened with me in Johar town a few years back. I had bought a plot in Jauhar Town in 1980s and I decided to sell it in 2005 to use the money after retirement. I made the deal with the seller and when we went to LDA office for transfer, I was told that I was no long the owner of the plot. It was some plot that LDA had give to original land-owner when they got the land and that transfer had gone into litigation and LDA had lost the case 5 years ago. They neither bothered to tell me nor did they adjust me anywhere. The deal I had made for 26 lakh was cancelled and I sold my papers over to someone for 3 lakh who was willing to fight the cases in court. Sharing the story so that anyone reading it may benefit from knowing the risk of investing with LDA.
