Beacon House is a medium size society and it is located nearest to Ada Plot on canal.

Society has big size commercial area at reasonable price.

My question on which I need clarity that what will be its sailing price in coming 6 months. Presently plots of 1 kanal near 51 A on main 70 feet road at nice location are almost toucing 9 to 10 Million.

Please comment it's future n furthermore, choice to construct home at beacon house or invest I dha phase 7 for home in future.

Regarding the choice to construct home, please go with your heart than pundits on this forum. See where do you want to grow old with your family - which place your kids like more ... DHA is not the emblem of living for everyone. My father lived there from 86 - 96, but got sick of the stuck up neighbors, new money, black money and moved out

Decide where you want to live with your family in the future, near to the school/college/university/hospital/work.

Or you want the prestige of DHA name. It all depends on your circumstances, since you want to build a house.

It is very hard to set a goal for a upward trend in file while i must say to exit must set a goal in your mind & after achieving it take name of ALLAH & go for it. This is what i did one year back in phase 9 file 5 marla. Although experience counts a lot as well.May be at time i gain a lot more. But think think think its your money & its your decission.

All respected friends are informed we at Lahore real estate always enjoyed love and respect difference of opinion from real people that may have many times more knowledge or investments in property that we have. All visitors and LRE do learn a lot from many serious honest caring regular posters here for especially schemes where Lahore real estate not dealing actively and not updated.

But now have many non serious posters that do not contribute in any way or any thing to this forum for visitors and actually tease disrespect and disrupt many serious on going discussions here with useless remarks. You may have witnessed people using many fake Ids of others people for Example Ekrar sahib id abused a lot this week. You have also seen nangi galian to other older members posters here or bad name calling by few grown up people. You have seen shameless baseless ilzams like LRE is giving rates too high or too low even for schemes where we never had a single deal in past and repeatedly openly said many time we dont deal there actively so cant benefit in any way by giving you higher or lower rates. You have seen people accusing us to buy all plots to get market high or same persons accuse us in next posts that we sold all plots to get rates down too. What i this non sense? They want us to give right to them to accuse us based on just guess and using fake Ids?

That no name guy posting against you or LRE or any project in Lahore have nothing to lose but it hurts yours and ours feeling a lot to see older reasonable caring people been wrongly harassed and it is not acceptable to LRE any more. From April 1st, 2016 LRE will only allow people with reserve names by SMS or WhatsApp text to post on this page. We dont want more posts that are useless and your and our tie waste. We dont want misleading false information junk posts. We want responsible grown up serious posters having productive useful gup shup. We even had a very serious talk to completely shut down this page because its all this headache is not worth acceptable anymore. That no name person posting wrong information dont think once that some retired teachers pension money may be at risk due to game playing and silly jokes etc. People pay lot of attention to what they read here. Id some thing is left online people assume Lahore Real Estate agreed with opinion but this assumption is not true. Many time we in one LRE office have completely different opinions.

Any person wanna ask a questions or discuss any thing or express his true feeling can still do that but we dont see any reason why he wont be able to send a SMS or WhatsApp text to inform us that ID has one real person in back of name. We reverse the right to delete block all posts from any non register person. If this fake IDs person privacy is more important than he should also respect and care for TeamLRE safety and business to take all risk and spend all resources and time to run this page too.

There will be ZERO tolerance for name callers disrespecting to other posters or posting any baseless accusations assumptions against LRE is not allowed here from today. You dont like our policies please dont visit this page and dot waste your and our time. Wanna have decent civilized interaction with all other doctors engineers teachers PHDs major col brig Gens Govt servants IT specialist that you should not have any problem send us an SMS to reserve name so they know they are not talking to a person that never had a property in his life and is upset why others hold some property in some project.

When you will send SMS to + to reserve your name your phone number will be used in name area of form to start a new thread or post a reply to any thread. It will convert to any name you chose as long as it 4 letters long. Your phone number will never be displayed if you always use + sign before your number. Like +923224009967 etc . No passwords to remember and no emails to confirm. After I reserve your name just use your phone number in name field and no one but LRE is able to see that number to make sure your post is not from a pump and dump type or other games playing only poster etc.

Lahore real estate have 1000s clients numbers for years and never ever trying to spam you or share it any where or in any way.

I wish hope and pray all friends are ok with this new much needed highly demanded feature to allow posts with reserved names only. I resisted it for many years but today I am convinced this new step will make this page 100 times more useful for people looking for real usable act able reliable information from now on.

To reserve your name / you can call it registration too please send SMS or WhatsApp text to + ( Dont use your phone number in name field without + in it and until I tell you to start using it in reply text.

NAB to investigate Gen. Kayani’s involvement in DHA Valley scam

ISLAMABAD: This may be the first time since his retirement that the name of former chief of army staff (COAS) retired Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani has surfaced in connection with a massive land scam.

A former official from the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), retired Lt Col Tariq Kamal, on February 22 asked the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate whether Gen Kayani was involved in “irregularities/misappropriation” related to DHA Valley contracts or whether “his name was used by the decision makers just to benefit Bahria Town”.

However, Mr Kamal’s application may not be of any consequence, since NAB cannot take up matters related to armed forces personnel who are not working in the civil administration.

Bureau isn’t empowered to investigate armed forces personnel
The DHA Valley scam is one of 50 mega land scam cases NAB has listed before the Supreme Court. NAB is investigating alleged “embezzlement in sale, development and purchase of land”. According to the NAB report submitted to the apex court, the inquiry was authorised on Jul 3, 2010, and was scheduled to be completed on Oct 15, 2015. The bureau has estimated that the scam involves 1,310,000 kanals of land.

Mr Kayani was appointed COAS in December 2007. According to the application, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and Bahria Town signed a joint venture (JV) contract for DHA Valley in 2008.

It states that: “Bahria Town was to purchase 40,000 kanals of land near Phase II extension, a project planned and marketed by DHA Islamabad in 2005. Malik Riaz CEO Bahria Town, finding it difficult to purchase the agreed land verbally requested to then-Maj-Gen Asif Ali vice president DHA for permission to develop DHA valley project in DHA’s land… permission was granted in a meeting held on February 25, 2009… about 30,000 kanal (DHA) land was transferred to Bahria Town without approval of competent authority causing benefits of billions of rupees to Bahria Town.”

It goes on to say that DHA transferred “more than Rs100 billion to Bahria Town without any bank guarantee”. It claims that, despite a 100pc increase in the project cost, DHA’s profits remained the same at Rs4.5 billion and did not see a proportionate increase.

The application alleges that in January 2009, Maj-Gen Asif Ali, while chairing a meeting of the DHA executive board, instructed that the process of JV contracts be expedited because the JVs had been approved by the COAS, and also called for early completion of the projects. Bahria Town ostensibly earned billions of rupees in “undue” profits due to the signing of these JVs.

When contacted, NAB Rawalpindi Director General Zahir Shah said the bureau cannot initiate inquiries against army officials.

He said NAB has received several applications against former president Gen Pervez Musharraf, but did not initiate action against him because serving and retired army officers must be dealt with under the Pakistan Army Act 1952 if they are accused of financial embezzlement.

Similarly, when the National Logistics Cell scam surfaced in 2009, NAB was asked to investigate the matter but was held back from taking action against the three accused generals by military authorities.

The case was investigated by the army itself, and in August 2015 retired Maj Gen Khalid Zahir was dismissed from service – which entails the forfeiture of rank, decorations, medals, honours, awards, the seizure of pension, recovery of personal gains, cancellation of service benefits and other allied facilities. Retired Lt Gen Afzal Muzaffar was awarded ‘severe displeasure (recordable), while retired Lt Gen Khalid Munir Khan was not found to be involved in any financial irregularities or serious misconduct and was absolved of all charges.

However, NAB did recently arrest former DHA administrator retired Brig Javed Iqbal and former DHA project director retired Col Sabahat Qadeer Butt for misusing their authority and violating the contract by selling DHA Islamabad allotment certificates illegally and in violation of the agreement between DHA and Elysium Holdings Pakistan.

According to Mr Shah, since Mr Iqbal and Mr Butt were working for DHA – which was created through an act of parliament – the bureau can take action against them.

Retired Col Khalilur Rehman, a senior Bahria Town official, said the military authorities should be approached for a response.

When asked to comment on Monday, a military official had asked for the query to be submitted in writing, which was then communicated through email. On Tuesday, when contacted again, the official declined comment.

Complain

Dear CMY

I bought a plot in DHA Lahore and gave token. Now the dealer is not honoring it's commitment and not picking the phone even. I have a receipt from the dealer for the token. Does DHA office have a complain office so I can register a complain against this dealer. Thanks

Yes You can Complain in DHA Office, if delaer is registered his registration will be suspended,
Incase he is not registered also Meet owner of office where he is sitting, at least you should get token back.

Yes U can got to court spend 2000 rs, take a stay order on the plot and submit the case order in DHA to put caution on the plot.The plot cannot be sold to anybody until court clears the stay.
