Which plot to be retained

My brother has ballotted two one k plots in phas9. Confused now which one to retain:
P 1065 corner but odd shaped and second Q 955 which though not corner but on 80 foot road and normal dimension. Can real experts advise which to retain.

You shpulf retain Q 955 As it is on 80 Feet wide road and normal dimension. Odd demension plot usually not be consider good one.

I am living in western culture since last 20 years; All round Europe and US Cul de Sac (means closed street, no through road) locations are preferred for residential houses due to privacy reasons and peacefulness.

I don't know why my Pakistani brothers like their houses on main roads / corner plots ??

Why there are so many odd shaped corner plots? My plot L-164 is also an odd shaped. Is it One Kanal or more than One Kanal or less? I would appreciate an expert opinion from Brothers on this forum.

@Farooq sb, obviously there are so many land pockets which are not acquired by DHA that's why corner, odd shaped corner, boundry plots are so much in Phase-9. If DHA had all the required land in hand then plots could have been in standard size.

Risks of buying in Non-LDA approved areas

Dear Experts, I have come to know that many societies including Bahria Town Sector D, E and F are still not approved by LDA. LDA has issued multiple warnings to people that these societies/sectors are not approved and buyers and sellers shall do any transactions at their own risks.

Moreover, there are many societies in Lahore which are not fully LDA approved. What risks are there while investing in such societies?

Most of Lahore's old Localities are not approved by LDA, Usually to get approved by LDA society should Have big size" minimum i d ont know" Land should be clear and Plan should be as per LDA requirement including School Graveyard place for grid commercial etc, As you know requirements of House as well.
Previously we saw that LDa was just sending warning in news Papers not to Buy But recently we have seen that sometimes they act on site as well breaking Boundary destroying gates and doing other stuff as well.

The biggest draw back of Such areas is if Land in not clear then there can be issues and then becomes merely " Qabza Land"
best thing is to buy in Approved societies or Land with registry in Patwar Khana,
This is more important if you are buying for investment as people Keeps on waiting 10+ years to get a reasonable offer at par with Market, keep in mind Liquidity of Property is very poor, That is why I always recommend big brands where sale and purchase is active.

Is DHA is under LDA?

DHA is housing authority just like LDA . DHA is governed by army and ie meant for army personals. LDA is governed by local civil administration and is meant to provide housing to civilians.

Peoples are constructing houses in unapproved socities and LDA is silent example is GRAND AVENUES
Second querry is that society is approved
But most sectors are unapproved what is this.

This information may be a sigh of relief for many and will prevent may selling their land at very low price.

Areas include
-Large area north east of Comfort factory.
-Youhanabad village area.
-Small J block area on ring road.
-Part next to Anmol society
-Part of Dav Kalan village

Its your choice to beleive or not.
Time will tell.
I cannot disclose more information.
