Gujranwala: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Gujranwala has shared thrilling news regarding Commercial Zone-3 and the Executive Block. The official announcement, posted on the authority's Facebook page on December 4, has sparked anticipation among stakeholders and investors.


As per the latest information, the authority has scheduled the possession date for Commercial Zone-3 and the Executive Block on December 20. This announcement marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development of these sectors, bringing the eagerly awaited possession phase closer for plot owners and investors.


While the possession date has been disclosed, specific details about the plots in Commercial Zone-3 and the Executive Block are yet to be shared by the authority. Bahawalpur: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur recently conducted an interactive session fostering meaningful discussions with its esteemed realtors and registered dealers. The authority shared details of this dynamic exchange via its official Facebook page on December 7.


The session served as a platform for comprehensive updates and progress reports on queries and concerns raised in the previous forum. Chaired by Project Director DHA Bahawalpur, Brig Muhammad Naveed Iqbal, the discussion initially focused on city access development, highlighting the installation of lights along the Yazman Access route.


Attendees were informed about the latest developments in Orchard Enclave, a pivotal project in the region. The forum also explored current market conditions and underscored the importance of nationwide business meetups.


A notable aspect of the forum was the active engagement of stakeholders, who not only shared insights but also provided valuable suggestions. Brig Muhammad Naveed Iqbal attentively addressed participants' queries, resolving concerns and challenges raised during the session.


Throughout the interactive session, participants expressed appreciation for the promising development pace within the project. Brig Muhammad Naveed Iqbal reiterated the organization's commitment to sustaining profitability for investors, assuring that DHA Bahawalpur would continue prioritizing the needs and concerns of its stakeholders.

Signal-Free Walton Road Project: Tackling 18-Kilometer Infrastructure and Drainage Issues


A comprehensive initiative is underway to transform Walton Road, addressing infrastructure, drainage, and traffic concerns along its 18-kilometer stretch from Walton airport to Hadiara drain. The signal-free Walton Road project focuses on a thorough revamp of the Airport Drainage Authority (ADA) drain running parallel to the road. This drain, originally designed to manage 80 cusecs of rainwater, has faced pollution and flooding issues, exacerbated during the rainy season due to sewage water from various localities.


The project, led by CBD Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, involves separating sewerage lines from the ADA drain and doubling its capacity to 160 cusecs, a capacity sufficient for the next 50 years. Concrete slabs will cover the ADA drain, with a greenbelt developed on top to enhance the road's aesthetic appeal.


The Central Business District (CBD) Punjab has initiated the revamping of Walton Road as a signal-free corridor, featuring three lanes on each side, a 15-foot green belt, and a 40-foot service lane. The plan includes three pedestrian underpasses, two overhead crossings, and three elevated U-turns to facilitate both pedestrian and vehicular movement.
