آر ڈی اے نے سپانسرز کو متنبہ کیا کہ وہ فوری طور پر غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کی مارکیٹنگ بند کر دیں۔
راولپنڈی ( ) ڈائریکٹر جنرل راولپنڈی ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی محمد سیف انور جپہ کی ہدایت پر میٹروپولیٹن پلاننگ اینڈ ٹریفک انجینئرنگ ڈائریکٹوریٹ آر ڈی اے نے اڈیالہ روڈ راولپنڈی پر موضع بدیال اور ڈھلہ خصالہ میں واقع روڈن انکلیو نامی غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیم کے مالکان مسٹر رحیم الدین اور مسٹر عثمان شاہد کے خلاف ایف آئی آر نمبر 1260/2023 تھانہ صدر بیرونی راولپنڈی میں درج کرا دی گئی ہے۔ آر ڈی اے ترجمان نے کہا کہ سپانسرز کو بھی فوری طور پر متنبہ کیا جاتا ہے غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیم کی مارکیٹنگ کو فوری طور پر روک دیں، جعلسازی کرتے ہوے سرکاری دفاتر کا نام استعمال نہ کریں اورعوام الناس کو دھوکہ دہی اور گمراہ کرنے سے باز رہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس غیر قانونی ہاءوسنگ کےمالکان نے مارکیٹنگ شروع کر رکھی ہے اور گھناءو کاروبار کو تقویت دینے کے لیے کمشنر راولپنڈی کے ساتھ ملاقات پر تصاویر لے کر اپنی تشہیری مہم کا حصہ لے کر شوشل میڈیا پرتشہیر کی جا رہی ہے اور عوام الناس کو دھوکہ دیا جارہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس پر ایکشن لیتے ہوے آرڈی اے انفورسمنٹ سکواڈ ٹیم بھر پور تیاری کے ساتھ بشمول متعلقہ تھانہ صدربیرونی پولیش کے تعاون سے مذکورہ غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیم کے خلاف آپریشن کرنے کے لیے سائٹ پر پہنچا، لیکن آپریشن سکیم کو سٹے آرڈر دکھا دیا گیا جو متعلقہ عدالت نے 30 اگست کو آرڈی اے سماعت کے بغیر اس غیر قانونی ہاءوسنگ سکیم کو سٹے آرڈر جاری کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ آرڈی اے اس سٹے آرڈر کے خلاف ایڈیشنل سیشن جج کو درخواست کرنے جا رہا ہے کہ جلد سماعت کی جائے کیونکہ یہ غیر قانونی ہاءوسنگ سکیم عوام الناس کو گمراہ کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈی جی آر ڈی اے نے ڈائریکٹر ایم پی اینڈ ٹی ای کو بھی ہدایت کی ہے کہ غیر قانونی اشتہارات اور مارکیٹنگ کے خلاف کارروائی کی جائے اور دیگر غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کے مالکان کے خلاف بھی ایف آئی آر درج کرادی جائیں گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈی جی آر ڈی اے محمد سیف انور جپہ کی ہدایت پر عوام کو اپنے مفاد میں مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ غیر قانونی اور غیر مجاز ہاؤسنگ سکیموں میں کسی قسم کی سرمایہ کاری سے گریز کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عوام کو یہ بھی مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ ہاؤسنگ سکیموں میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے سے پہلے آر ڈی اے سے چیک کریں۔ اسے آرڈی اے ویب سائٹ www.rda.gop.pk پر بھی چیک کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کے مالکان اور سپانسرز اشتہارات کے ذریعے عوام کو گمراہ کر رہے ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں پلاننگ ونگ آر ڈی اے نے سائبر کرائم ونگ، ایف آئی اے سے بھی درخواست کی ہے کہ ان غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کے غیر قانونی اور گمراہ کن اشتہارات کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی کی جائے تاکہ عوام کو ان کے گھپلوں میں مبتلا ہونے سے بچایا جا سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ مذکورہ بالا جرائم غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیم کے مالکان کی طرف سے کیے گئے ہیں اور پنجاب ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹیز پرائیویٹ ہاؤسنگ سکیم رولز 2021 کے قاعدہ 38 کے تحت بھی قابل توجہ ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ غیر قانونی ڈویلپمنٹ پر جرمانہ، جب تک نادہندہ ہے جاری رہے گا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

LDA officers ordered to speed up work One Window Cell

LAHORE:Commissioner Lahore/LDA DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed the One Window Cell officers to speed up the work so that the citizens should not have to wait unnecessarily for the processing of their applications. He issued these directions during his visit to LDA One Window Cell here on Monday.

He visited the Senior Citizen Counter, Overseas Counter and other counters established at the cell and inquired about the problems being faced by the citizens.

LDA DG took feedback from the citizens who came to the One Window Cell about the working of the staff. The citizens gave several suggestions for further improvement of the One Window Cell.

Commissioner Lahore directed that documents should be delivered to senior citizens at their homes. He said that LDA is providing services to senior citizens above 75 years of age absolutely free at their doorsteps.

He also presided over the meeting on issues and performance of One Window Cell. The directors of both the shifts of One Window Cell gave briefing about the performance of their respective shifts. They said that the approval of the residential plan of the private housing schemes was now being done in three days instead of 30 days.

Traffic Plan Amid Cavalry Chowk Underpass Construction Issued



Lahore Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory plan as the construction of the Cavalry Chowk Underpass started last week. According to the police, the road from Khalid Butt Chowk, Cavalry Ground, to Ghora Chowk is completely shut down for traffic. The road from Khursheed Alam Road Cantt towards Firdous Market via Cavalry Ground is also closed to all kinds of traffic.


The police have advised commuters to avoid these routes to stay safe from any hassle and traffic problems.


Alternative Route Plan 


These are two alternative route plans for the commuters:



  • The citizens going from Firdous Market to Defence should turn left from Cavalry Chowk and continue their journey through Khursheed Alam Chowk and Nadeem Chowk.

  • The citizens cannot go to Firdous Market from Khursheed Alam Road, Cantt; rather, they must go from Sherpao Bridge, Gulberg.

  • The straight road from Defense Ghora Chowk towards Firdous Market is open for now.

  • Commuters who want to go to DHA should use Ferozepur Road and can reach the housing society through GajjuMatta, Walton Road, and Ghazi Road.

  • People coming from Kalma Chowk should use Main Boulevard, Gulberg, and reach Shami Road in Cantt.


“Nine traffic inspectors, 42 wardens, and 22 traffic assistants are performing their duties at diversion points,” Lahore Traffic Police said in a statement. Furthermore, the police have put direction boards on these routes and made announcements on FM radio to help the citizens. “This is a 90-day project, and we hope that people will cooperate with the police to ensure smooth traffic flow,” the traffic police said.


The traffic signal at Cavalry Chowk was famous for long traffic jams, especially during rush hours. The commuters have long been demanding an underpass to resolve this issue. Now, the Punjab government has started the project, which is the third underpass project in the area after Firdous Market and Kalma Chowk. This would ensure smooth traffic flow at these spots, helping people reach their destinations easily and, most importantly, reduce the air pollution caused by traffic jams.

CDA Repatriates Officer On Charges Of Illegal Transfer Of Land

Islamabad: The management of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has surrendered a female officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) on charges of illegal transfer of valuable land in Sector E-11.

The services of Sidra Anwar, BPS-18 officer of PAS posted in CDA (Director Land) on deputation are repatriated in the fact-finding report, says a notification issued by the Human Resources Directorate of CDA.

The notification has been issued with the approval of the CDA chairman and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Any further action against the official will be taken by the Establishment Division.

The fact-finding committee constituted by the CDA chairman and headed by Director of Security in its report found that the director also approved an illegal transfer of land worth billions of rupees along the northern strip of Sector E-11. The CDA management had already suspended Assistant Director Land Aftab Saleem and Junior Assistant Jamshed Khokar in the same case.

This decision was made during a CDA Board meeting presided over by Chairman Mohammad Anwarul Haq.

The board has mandated that the relevant CDA department curate a detailed booklet within eight weeks. This guide will feature approved building designs suited for various plot dimensions, simplifying the construction journey for potential homeowners.

Furthermore, the CDA is taking strides to rejuvenate a commission dedicated to updating the city’s master plan. This initiative underscores the importance of keeping the city’s blueprint current and relevant.

Highlighting the urgency of the matter, the CDA board has also directed the authority to liaise with the federal government. The goal is to establish a specialized commission that will focus on revising the master plan, which was originally conceptualized in 1960.

Despite the plan’s stipulation for bi-decadal revisions, it has seen minimal updates, with only occasional modifications by consecutive administrations.

This series of decisions by the CDA not only promises a more streamlined construction process for residents but also emphasizes the authority’s commitment to urban planning and development.

LDA Demolishes 35 Illegal Properties in a Major Crackdown


LAHORE: In a significant move to curb unauthorized constructions, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out a large-scale operation on Friday, resulting in the partial demolition of 35 illegal properties. The targeted areas included Wapda Town, PIA Scheme, Johar Town, and Wahdat Road.

An LDA spokesperson informed the media that the operation was executed under the directives of Commissioner Lahore and D.G. LDA, Mr. Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The on-ground activities were closely supervised by Additional D.G. Housing, Captain ® Shah Mir Iqbal.

The primary reasons for the crackdown were structures deviating from approved blueprints, unauthorized commercial activities, illegal modifications or additions to properties, and failure to pay commercialization fees. These violations led the LDA teams to seal and subsequently demolish the offending properties.

This operation is a clear indication of LDA’s commitment to maintaining the city’s structural integrity and ensuring that all constructions adhere to the approved guidelines.

Pakistan unveils new visa policy to attract foreign investors

Pakistan, in a bid to revive its ailing economy, has introduced a new visa policy to attract business communities from across the world to invest in the cash-strapped country.

The decision was taken in the two-day consultation meeting held under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC); a civil-military hybrid body set up by the previous Shehbaz Sharif government to tackle the country's economic woes.


"If Pakistan’s chambers of business or business organisations issue a document to a foreign businessman, easy visas will also be issued to them," the statement quoted caretaker Prime Minister Kakar as saying.

He expressed hope that under this new visa regime, Pakistan would enter a new phase of business and economy.

Later, addressing a press conference with other ministers, caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said that the SIFC was briefed on Pakistan’s relations with China, the United States and other Middle East countries.

He said the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries had shown interest in the investment council.

The GCC countries include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the Dawn newspaper, Law Minister Ahmad Irfan Aslam said that in contrast to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that has garnered significant funds from China, Western countries haven’t made definitive commitments to the SIFC yet.

However, he insisted that the SIFC and CPEC had different scopes and sectors for Chinese investment.

While CPEC focuses on roads, infrastructure and energy projects, the SIFC allows China to invest in minerals and other areas not part of the corridor project.

Aslam said that agreements had reached an advanced level with GCC countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

"We will first sign the agreement with Saudi Arabia," Aslam said, adding that the signing of the agreement was expected by the year’s end.

In response to a question, the law minister admitted that he was only aware of Indonesia’s interest in investing under the SIFC, while Western and other non-GCC countries have not made any firm pledges yet.
