hi price of 1 kanal residential is 42 lacs....however this is quite old info I have. nobody seems to have interest in this society on this forum. It is a strong candidate to merge into DHA5 proper.

if someone has more current info then please do share.

i think since pakistan's economy is getting down, it is adversely effecting pakistan's real estate market. everything is linked with the economy. foreign investors and overseas pakistani's are holding back their money and not buying anything. there are only a few buyers who need to build their house are interested in property.
this trend will go on during zardari's government. as soon as he's gone, a less currupt government forms, pakistan's economy will get better and as a result real estate market will get better.
nothing personal against zardari, just telling what i feel is going on.

Pakistan's fortunes are directly linked with US's...slowdown there has trickled down here...I just read that US housing market has bottomed out....I think this Pakistan's economy is one phase behind US's...

Gas pipeline installation project launched in DHA Phase-VI
The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) administration launched a gas pipeline installation project in Sector B of Phase-VI on Thursday.

DHA Administrator Brigadier Muhammad Aslam said the DHA administration was trying its best to complete the development in the new phases as soon as possible to facilitate the residents of the area.

He pointed out that Phase-VI was the largest of the 10 phases built by DHA and four and eight-marla plots were available in the locality for commercial use. Aslam said a football and hockey ground was designed for Phase-VI and stern security measures had also been devised for the phase.

AOA all the contributors,

I just wanted some advice from you guys, where should one build a house in 6 months time?

Budget to buy the plot is about Rs.40 lacs. My goals are to be somewhere relatively close to the centre of Lahore, in a safe locality with good facilities (like underground wiring, good roads, and good maintenace). So far DHA Park View rear blocks, and Bahria Sector C are close contenders.

I shall appreciate your input. Thank you very much!!

u may built the house in six months time in DHA 6, Park view etc but from security point of view and people living in these areas, these can be living areas after 4-5 years

Thanks for coming up with best possiblities. Air Avenue is not cheap. Wapda, Valencia, and NFC may be more populated but they don't have all the utilities underground, do they?

Seems like there is less crime in Cantt and DHA areas than rest of Lahore, is it true?
