Residential Plot Required ( Honest advice thanks),

Dear LRE Team,
Thank you very much for all the details and all your genuine work in regard with the real estate.
Now the matter of concern is that i need to buy a 5 merla (preferably 5 merla as budget is 18 lac max) or 10 merla residential plot.
My choice is Ceneral Park Housing Scheme located on Ferozpur road as it is approved bu LDA. A lot many people are selling plots in this housing scheme.But there is a fear of legal problem as litigation over the property being sold, multiple owners or any other such issues. Further I want to construct home with in one to 1.5 years so possession and living facilities availability is very important in a short term. Many plot selling in central park housing lies in my budget but have non-possession status(may be underdeveloped). Some time it would take many years for possession which is un-manageable for the person like me. Honest suggestion for any other society which suits more with these requirements is also highly admired.
The issue of being a middle class member is that any fraud is highly unaffordable and only a total disaster. No doubt honest real estate agent acts as filter to clean the matter and provide genuine advice over the subject. I hope for much needed true consultation.
Please provide your years experienced advice.
