LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has restricted temporary or annual commercialization in LDA Avenue-I, Jubilee Town and Mohlanwal housing schemes to pre-empt construction of commercial buildings on residential plots. While, main commercial centers in these schemes were yet to be constructed and were under utilized.
The LDA spokesman said this decision was aimed at ensuring development of these schemes as per the approved layout plan and for carrying out commercial activities in designated areas only. He said LDA has also decided to release the building plans for construction of houses in a phased manner. Meanwhile, for ensuring strict implementation of building regulations, he added, plan for construction of ground floor would only be released after the foundation of the structure had been constructed as per the foundation plan approved by LDA.

No one trusts LDA any more. jubilee town and LDA avenue main road kanal plots are 3 crore plus even with these news coming back and forth...eventually all LDA main roads get commercialized |
