Now this is the test of the strength of short-term investors: whether there are able to absorb this shock of taxation: im my personal view very weak investors will leave the ground whereas somewhat stronger investors will sustain and market will come to normal after a few days. Comments please. Azfarr replied on Friday, June 3, 2016 03:35 PM

Budget not Approved yet. Opposition Rejected it. |

This is common practice that opposition rejects the budjet every year but govt will get it pass through NA due to their simple majority I am a non DHA investor and can easily see that 10% is not a small number so ex DHA property will come down speedily During last year 0.4% wht was imposed on transactions but market absorbed that shock due to its small volume As far as DHA is concerned big fish play here for example 2 or 3 lac for a prisim kanal plot extra tax on profit does not mean for them. This may be said for whole DHA as well |

Ch sb previously gain tax was only 1% and it was applicable till 2 years after purchase Now its 10% and is applicable till 5 years I was also planning to sale my prisim plot in ramzan ul Mubarak This is my 1st deal in DHA let's hope for the best Cheers |

One more thing its on DC rates not on profits How Govt can calculate one's profit. Either u r selling with one crore profits or selling with 10 lac loss one have to deposit 10% WHT on DC rates |
