Govt of Punjab going to impose TAX with Open Plot.
TAX will be on all size of open plots. 1 Marla tax will be from 200 to 1000 PKR.

This will be discouraging, one time at sale and purchase would be oK but this type of Tax people always think as a curse. |

its 1000 per marla
so for 1 kanal would be 20 K annually
in the report, its mentioned that prices are kept lower this year since they expect backlash....later on these rates would be increased |

It appears small but when you combine it with CGT and withholding tax plus tax on banking transactions for every sale and purchase, the total amount will be significant. Buying and selling property will take a chunk out of your pocket. |
