In last 15 years no village and Graveyard were relocated, In villages most villages were small houses raging from 2 to 5 Merla, and Most have no papers and were living at "mercy" of Land Lords for generations [all Land belong to God] in 2004 when DHA Found difficulty is relocating the Villages they Contacted the Court and it was decided by Court that all non Land Holders living should be given 4 Lac per Merla compensation as Land Lords legally have should the Land to DHA and Files were Floated, Some People Opted for this Compensation other did not, Later in 2006 Court revised the decision and increased compensation to 7 lac per Merla even then it was not successful and at that time DHA stopped taking this hassle and stopped the process of relocation of Villages, Only exception was a cluster of few houses in DHA Raya which could not resolved legally and resulted in firing Killing of few people and bad monitoring about DHA as " Qabaza Group"
Now DHA is tackling this issue More Intelligently and Does Not show villages in their map does not try to acquire houses.
What Happen to Villages Now they shrink in Size, And people Willingly give that surrounding open Land surrounding villages. If You can install Google earth reach DHA Phase 7 U Block and Compare images from 2012 and 2016 You see that Villages Become smaller and Smaller but stay in Place. |
