What is the difference between transfer intimation letter and allotment letter?

when u purchased an affidavit file from market and goes for its transfer in your name, then first owner of that file submits its affidavit and other documents in DHA office for transfer. DHA office after checking of all the document issued an intimation letter to owner of file that now DHA is ready for its transfer of owner ship to new owner name. then old and new both owners go to DHA office to complete transfer procedure. After transfer procedure complete new owner will get the ALLOTMENT LETTER.

Is it same for Bahira Town?
Because I heard that Bahria town issue "transfer intimation letter" only at the time of transfer but Allotment letter ll be given if you apply for possession?
