1) As a overseas Pakistani, there is no tax on my money than why for me they are using terms of filer and non-filer

2) As a overseas Pakistani, there is no tax on my money than why they start looting it as soon as it reach bank on the name of withholding tax

3) It is the easiest to find out is who working where for govt. if it is needed

4) Who will collect all these taxes, FBR? Whoever has 1-marla something on rent in Pakistan, he already knows that they never ready to take tax. They always take their SHARE and thats it. Some of my class-fellows from UET are in FBR and now their properties are un-imaginable. So they will take tax?

5) The black-money issue should start from FBR-officers, politicians,......

6) Lot of brothers are saying overseas should not worry. Why? The butcher already took my dollars from my account even without asking me [and sent their dollars out] now he is planning to loot my money LEGALLY and I am 100% sure from past experience that Pakistan will not get benefit of a penny out of that.

7) Results:a) All this taxation will increase the corruption-rates.b) If the govt need some land/house from any person, he will be payed according to Market value or DC-rate.What is going on with Orange-train affected peoples? Regards

Our puppet selfish rulers are creating chaos and destroying the bread and butter of the only business left in Pakistan ,creating more unemployment, crime, frustration and bribery. May they go to hell who create hell for innocents who simply want a shelter for their families

There are different laws for common man and the rulers. If politicians make billions by corruption, and send this money overseas by money laundering, making offshore companies or buying overseas properties by looted money. Currently there is no law to prosecute them. We need TORs, Judicial commission, constitutional amendments even to start prosecution. And still it is the state that has to prove them guilty, otherwise they are innocent.
On the other hand an overseas Pakistani who sends his hard earned money to Pakistan has to prove his non resident status,pay slips, salary certificates, overseas account statements, remittance certificates, Pakistani account statement, PRC etc to prove his money white. Otherwise he is guilty.

Agreed. Had the main departments been doing their job, such a situation would'nt have arisen. Investigation of hidden assets must start from FBR officials, police officials, judges, district administrators, followed by officials appointed in departments falling under ministry of interior, and then politicians, irrespective of to which political party they are affiliated with. They are the real termites eating away all resources without the differentiation of halal and haram. Only their correction can guarantee success of the whole system.

@Irfan, you have raised very valid questions. Overseas Pakistani's are being looted by this government by various methods, like WHT, filer, non-filer issue.

I request to all overseas Pakistani's to start raising their voice against these unjust taxes on overseas Pakistani's and make your voice heard.

I fully agree with Mr. Irfan on the issues he has raised. My dear what type of justice you can ask from looters and corrupt leaders. First you should see those who are advocating the government policies and trying to enforce these huge taxes, how much patriot Pakistan they are we know very well. All most all of them have their properties and businesses outside Pakistan. They don't have to pay these taxes. The country's economy is sinking because of the loans they have taken during the last 3 years. They are taking more loans to pay back interests on the loans. Now they need money to build such show peaces which can help them to win election again. You can say these taxes are for their next election propaganda com pain. We are always told that we are ambassadors of Pakistan abroad, its a just cheat. They are just looting us and ruling us.
