I am buying one kanal plot.the owener is outside country and is giving power of attrony to some of his relative for sale of plot.my question is ,is it legel?which things should be kept in mind for doing bayana and transfer.plz help me

If the plot is in DHA, it would require seller's physical presence for transfer. |

Yes it can be done.
Now the system is computerized i had given Power attorney for selling my plot and went to land record department. First they did NADRA verification. Then they took photo ask some questions about the land then they issued paper for Power of attorney.
It can also be done i think if some one is not there through embassy that detail i dono much as i was physicaly present when i gave power.
As even though things are better and records are computerized still it can be forged. Just speak the owner itself also to be safe. As some one might be selling on behalf of him.
This is the only thing u need to check else it is legal and normal thing |

Also you need to check the names matching with ID card and all the docs with power of attorney of the original owner of the land.
You can also verification of the owners and status from land department.
After all these verification you can give bayana. |

Although there is nothing wrong in this BUT It's better to avoid such deal. Try to go for a straight-forward and hassle free deal with a seller who is physically there. |

Avoid heavy Biana till you get all the paperwork done / embassy verified and sent via courier to your agent and you have seen it yourself and is confirmed by respective society that it is sufficient to proceed with transfer. |

All you need to do is verify the power of attorney. The payment should be in pay orders/ demand draft in the name of the owner. |
