In my opinion that money will get back to Pakistan in white shape. بلی کہ منہ کو خون لگ جائے تو جاتا نہیں ۔

Our finance minister achieved his target in favor of Dubai rulers.

There should be no tax on foreign investment if they want to our country to survive.

So the article i posted a few days back was correct!!!

Not entirely true. I shared with everyone around 3-4 months ago that dubai property has almost reached the bottom and there will be crazy increases in prices during . Transfer of money is because the big fish know where the big gains are for the next two years. Lahore property will give modest gains too. Lots of juice still left.

Ahmet I think you have not seen recent real estate condition and rental drops in uae + huge number of new units going to be added in main stream within months.

Dubai property is a very Risky business.
But may be Ahmet sb. Vision is broader than Shahzad sb. Or Shahzad sb. Experience will take over Ahmet sb.

@Shahzad my current portfolio is 75% Dubai property and I wish I could invest more =) The next boom is less than six months away. The big fish are already in. Next it will be medium fish. Next it will be poor people like us. Also let me let you in on a little fact. Dubai property is a cyclical bubble that makes or breaks on perceptions. Supply Demand discussions go out the window when the boom time hits dubai. Anyway let's have this discussion a year from now. =) I am a small fish that hangs out with the big fish sometimes so I am lucky enough to get the news earlier. See ya

Nabeel® replied on Thursday, August 18, 2016 05:25 AM

LOL..

So the net impact of the taxes is that the money has flowed out of the country.....much of it black I'm sure and a lot of white as well due to the uncertainty even genuine money flows out.

Dubai's Gain...Pakistan's loss. So Pakistan government's short-sighted policies are helping fund economy of Dubai in these uncertain times,

A shame as Pakistanis get forced to invest in Dubai's unstable market, whereas the Government should be giving incentives to overseas investors to bring in money into the country.

ShahzadQamar® replied on Thursday, August 18, 2016 10:11 PM

Ahmet this cyclic concept is different this time. I hope that i would be wrong but i dont think there will be a revival now any time soon as govt. Is focussing on low priced affordable housing that will surely impact even on longer run the current units. There are so many other factors as well those are needed to be considered not just oil.
