Askari-10 is way more dangerous than phase-8 ? No where on earth, a housing community is planned near runway, but here, people can literally watch take offs & landing from their windows, a few meters away & more houses are being built. SMH.

In my opinion, Phase 6 is the real winner. It has a safe distance from the airport yet it is a mere 5 minute drive away!

Thank you so much CMY sb. For sharing such a great news. As CMY sb. discussed earlier that as soon as these new outcome of taxes is digested there will be again a huge surge of buyers in market. So there is no more Cooling down specially in PRISM. Those who wanna buy recomemdeď by CMY to buy its now probably the best opportunity to grab "In shaa ALLAH"

Interesting point raised by a friend, which many people building houses may have. As I am located abroad not aware, but have seen this scenario in Dubai in Mirdiff where the fine china is vibrating when the aircraft passes overhead.

Which DHA Phase is most directly located in or near the aircraft path and has the most sound pollution? Is it DHA Phase 6, 7, or 8?

It is a matter of preference. You can pay $300K to breath Carbon-monoxide, live under high tension wire, because you have a peer pressure of living in phase 8.

@ Nabeel - DHA phase 3, 4 and parts of phase 5 are in pathways whereas phase 8 is directly in front of the airport and now possibly in front of the actual runway with the new extension of the airport. 6 is a bit out, 7 is further out and 9 is the furthest from airport!

Sorry I meant phase 1 (not phase 3). I am not entirely sure of which parts of the old DHA are effected. There may be some other blocks within each phase.

Phase 1 2 3 are 2 to 3 kilometer on pathway of airplanes ( means in same direction of the runway) phase 5 is 4 to 5 kilometer in the same direction. while phase 8 is 3 to 4 kilometer away but not under the pathway of planes. there is ring road in between airport and phase 8.one can easily see on the google earth.

I am recalling one of the terminals of Heathrow Airport took over 14 years to get approval as it was opposed vehemently by environmentalists and those whose homes would be affected by being in its flight path.

In our country, seems living next to airport is highly prized. Either they were missing something or we are :-)

Runway direction change to 90 deg is not possible because of the border. Phase-8 will not be effected at all as it remains out of the way, it will remain a jewel. Even if the runway is moved to 90 deg still Phase-8 is away from airplanes path, See Google maps.
