Is it true that now lahore airport expansion has been given the green signal the runway will be shifted from its current position to a 90 degree angle and thus directly facing DHA phase 8 and phase 6? How does this even help the airport when they can just elongate existing pathways?

By the looks of the news about it the only expansions are in parking, airport covered area and storage of jets. No news of any kind on the runway itself being shifted around. |

90 degree angle ? Who told you this C##p? It not possible & even if it is it will not be done being close to border, a technical reason. Airport expansion is for building & hangers. |

Waseem sb it was people on this own forum saying somehow dha phase 8 will now be in the path of take-off for jets not personal opinion thus why i was clarifying. |
