Dear members and experts i am going to renovate an old house double story house and uplift its lenters(roof) 1st.
Any body can share his/her experience of uplifting of lanter (roof) of double story house/shop.
Any possibility of harm faced?
Charges per sq. feet. pls. share more pros and cons of it. thanks in advance.

Yes i did it two years ago no problem only u should try to get a good and exprt contractors specially working for lifting lanter .and try to add one or tow more pillar and strong ratio of material . |

It weakens your structure for sure . Do make sure to strengthen it for earthquakes even if you plan to sale it. God forbid if in earthquake it falls it can be a big sin |
