Guys building a house as you may know....poured the foundations yesterday....there are cracks in the concrete is this normal...should i be worried. Picture enclosed

Its not great. Shuter shoild not be removed for at least 7 days in winter. Before progressing further you should ask qulifield structure engineer to inspect and get engineers report. Contractor will try to fill honeycombs in concrete. Make sure foundation is the main part of foundation if you have not corrected now you will have to spend lot if money later.

They are ok, it seems to be plates partition marks

These are not cracks but shuttering offset marks...........there seems no water proofing treatment/membrane... also honey combing is there giving rise to risk of seepage..shud be treated with some water proofing chemical

you removed the shuttering too early.
use plaster to fil these openings.
next time be careful.
your contractor is not good.

Hmm the engineer has recommended water proofing....what does it entail....how is that done? Would using bitumen be enough?
