Hi, I recently bought a DHA Gujranwala 10 Marla file, the agent sent me the copy of the intimation letter after 3 weeks. I am bit spectical about this why it took so long to get signed one intimation letter from DHA.

1. How can I verify that the file is transferred under my name?
2. My agent is asking me to make the Pay order in the name of the person he bought file, though his name is not mention in the intimation letter is it safe to do that?

Looks fair, 3 weeks is too little time to sort Affidavit File, You can Make Pay order, and Final Transfer will be at DHA Office, You can cancel Pay order if DHA will tell you some other story, You will lose only Pay order Charges and 0.3% Govt tax at Max
There must be some 3rd party on the way who did biana to buy the file and getting 2,3 Lac Profit. You can put the Condition that you need Cancelled Biana paper at the Time Of deal
Only Caution is It is unusual to make full pay order in 3rd Party name normally they say Deal is 30 Lac Make 25 Lac in real owner name 4 Lac on Biana Holder name and 1 Lac cash etc
If you bought File in Market rate you should have no headache why biana Holder Bought in 2 Lac cheaper than your offer,

Go to DHA Gujranwala Office and verify the intimation before payment.

It is the convention that they ask to make pay order in some one else' name....who is usually an investor ( just sharing my experience) .
I was also scared thinking my money could be sent to someone from banned organization and can be misused ...But Allah ka shukar hey abhi tak tou kuch ni howa n all went well...
Brother, verify intimation letter from DHA office. Usually the dealer asks for the pay order copy (not original) even before the transfer occurs.

@Habib and all the respected forum members thanks for your views

I don't live in Pak, but however I called DHA Guj the No mentioned on the intimation letter they verified it "ALHUMDULILLAH". I will make the pay order and will give to them and will get the original letter when I will come back to pakistan INSHALLAH In next two weeks then will do the final transfer.

Thats good if you got the confirmation.
However, hand over the pay order upon getting the original intimation as the investor can also cancel the intimation.
If you are planning to give the pay order through some relative then ask him to collect the original letter for your same time and verify its original with embossed stamp of DHA on it.
Dont hand over pay order now and make the receipt of original intimation pending for 2 weeks.
