There are few rumors these days for State Life Phase 2; since I have 4 plots over there and stuck there for past 8 years due to their worst management and now due to such amours I decided to visit State Life Office to find out the real story behind it.
So what I am told that this time State Life Management is very serious to finish this issue of less land and more file being sold and they are soon going to conduct annual meeting of final 14 marlas for 1 kanal and 7 marlas for 10 marlas plot holder. For 5 Marlas, there would be an option of refund or pay more to get plot.
This time they have pressure from LDA and NAB also, even I was told that many would be dragged by NAB if the management do not take adhere them.
Also NAB seems like very active for such societies who are in deep shit since long.
So I guess who ever is "leaking" such news that "State Life Is Coming" is somewhat true. they would be announcing the annual meeting date in December. I was also told told that is high demand now for the prices and enquirers for State Life.

Yes Naeem, you would get 14 Marlas instead of 1 Kanal.
Think in a different way; State Life 2 is all over surrounded by DHA and exactly on Ring Road. In that area, you can no way get the plot for 5 Marlas for which you are going to buy for 14 Marlas (or so called 1 kanal). So it is Win Win game.
Also I cautioned you that it is a dead society for past 10 - 12 years and we are having great hope it would mature soon thats why no dealer is talking about.
Once matured hopefully within a year, price would sky rocket and one one can deny that. |

I am somewhat agree with Altaf. no society in that are is close to the price of SL2 but the only risk factor when it would mature. I was having some extra cash and I bought 2 plots earlier this year with the same hope as Altaf said |

Location is ideal and in this price you will not get anything but again it is timing dont know how long it will take, I have SL2 1kanal since last few years, is it converted to 14marla, or I have to visit their office to convert it to 14 marla, can someone provide information. |

this is the most optimistic solution what Mr Altaf assumed however there may be other scenarios to keep in mind. All members will not agree on any single scheme of settlement and from there the nightmare will continue, court cases stay order litigation. In addition to short of land the society will require funds to develop the society which is currently with deep pit holes that will be huge cost. |

and don't forget to think about the Opportunity cost of holding the plot in State Life 2. If you have no idea what is meant by "Opportunity cost", ask any kid in your family who is studying economics in FA or BA |
