Steel for RCC and Construction Material,

Dear Fellows,

I have started construction of my house in DHA Phase-5, Lahore. I request LRE users to guide me on

1. Which steel is better Amerali, Afco, Mughal or any other.
2. Reliable suppliers of steel who give genuine steel and correct weight measurement.
3. Good suppliers of bricks, cement and crush.
4. Prevailing rates of A-class bricks, crush and cement.

1,2. Afco is good but you have to go their Badami bagh office to purchase, weigh & load in front of yourself. 2nd comes Model, Amreli, Mughal which are available in the market. When buy steel, make sure shop's scale is not tampered.

2. There are lot of suppliers in the market, hardly anyone perfect. I suggest whichever you try, just don't give any money in advance, never ever !! Pay only when materials arrive at your premises, check the quality & then pay after couple of days.
4. A class bricks starts at Rs. 8000/ 1000 pcs. Rate can go upto 8500/1000 pcs. Margallah crush rate is 75.sqf, Sargodha crush rate starts at Rs. 58 & can go upto 68/sqft. Cement rate varies time to time, currently Maple Leaf is Rs. 530/bag & Lucky cement is Rs. 510/bag including delivery at sight. I construct & sell houses so above is based on personal experience.

I am planing to build my house with basement on 1 knal plot in DHA .Could you please guide me how much cost will come if I complete A class construction myself because outside builders asking me with materieals. I am living in Middle East.I need your valueable adivse because you have a lot experience in this field.Kindly also advise for good Architect how charge reasonable price and supervision services.

Model Rcc is best, one who is honest than most is shoaib traders college road, township.

Jazak Allah. Your inputs are well noted. I will be thankful if you can provide rates of Afco and Mughal Steel on per ton basis. Also is there any difference in graded and ungraded steel.

Many thanks for your quick reply,the cost of 160 to 200 builder cost with material or if I build myself? If you know any good Architect who charge reasonable price with supervision, kindly inform his cell or address.

All top notch are same and better thn worst in this, if u camt do if than higher a supervisor as your replacment, this trend is in from 4,5 years too

A class complete construction with finishing will cost around , actually there is no upper limit. It depends upon how much you want to spend on finishing.
I provide complete construction services, including architecture, grey & finishing.

A class complete construction with finishing will cost around 2800 to 3500, actually there is no upper limit. It depends upon how much you want to spend on finishing.
I provide complete construction services, including architecture, grey & finishing.
