What risks are involved while purchasing a plot or house in any society which is not approved by LDA.

Personal Advice , please stay away from Society not Approved . Always try to get on Ground Property

@ Khurram, we should understand that development authorities like LDA protects public's interest and grant NOC to housing authorities who meet strict criteria. Bahria Town sector F example is infront if us, they didnt get LDA NOC and most of the file holders are still waiting for their plots. BT are making false promises everytime and giving fake hopes to file holders. Central park is another story, its only few blocks are approved by LDA, they have added several new blocks which are not approved by LDA and society still shows previous NOC to customers to trap them.

@Rizwan, If society issues the map. Then we should go for it or not. I heard Bahria Orchard phase 1, 2 is not approved but they have issued the map. And people are investing and even making homes.

Thanks for reply from Fahad Khan, Rizwan Ullah and Atif. But my query is not completely replied and needs more discussion from experts. My query was what risks are involved while purchasing plot or house in any society not approved by LDA. I think risks can be (i) LDA can demolish houses built in such socities (ii) LDA can block civic facilities in such societies (iii) LDA can fine owners of such houses etc.etc.
All are requested to highlight the risks with actual references if any.
