Supreme Court of Pakistan told NAB to Suspend Action Against Bahria Town
Supreme Court of Pakistan has allowed Bahria Town to continue and complete the projects in the larger interest of public at large. Bahria is allowed to collect payments/dues from all Allottees/investors so that construction works be completed in letter & spirit and hearing of the case is adjourned after summer vacations.
Rs 5 Billion to be deposited as surety/guarantee within three (3) weeks to Supreme Court.
NAB has been restrained from any investigation in the matters of Bahria Town, its Directors and all persons directly or indirectly related with the Project.
Malik Riaz Hussain Chairman/Chief Executive Officer today appeared before the SC and argued that he has done noting illegal and against law and earned his name and reputation because of his hard work. He is committed to provide housing facilities to the people of Pakistan and nobody in world has provided such facilities in short time. Bahria is providing state of art facilities and is committed to complete the project.
