چیف جسٹس ثاقب نثار نے پیکجیز مال کو اب تک کا سب سے زور دار جھٹکا دیدیا ، انتہائی دبنگ حکم جاری کر دیا
لاہور (ڈیلی پاکستان آن لائن )چیف جسٹس ثاقب نثار نے سرکاری اراضی پر پیکجیز مال کی تعمیر کیخلاف از خود نوٹس کی سماعت کے دوران ریمارکس دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ آپ کی لیز ابھی منسوخ کر رہے ہیں اور آئندہ لیز اوپن آکشن کے ذریعے دی جائے گی ۔

سپریم کورٹ میں سرکاری اراضی پر پیکیجز مال کی تعمیر کیخلاف از خود نوٹس کی سماعت ہوئی جس دوران پیکیجیز فیکٹری کے مالک بابر علی خود عدالت میں پیش ہوئے جبکہ پیکیجیزمال کی طرف سے ڈاکٹر پرویز حسن ایڈو کیٹ عدالت میں پیش ہوئے ۔ایڈینشل ایڈو کیٹ جنرل نے عدالت میں بتایا کہ پیکیجز فیکٹری کی لیز 2015 سے ختم ہوچکی۔

چیف جسٹس نے ریمارکس دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ لیزپرلی گئی زمین پر پیکیجیز مال بنادیاگیا،لیزختم ہوچکی ہے توحکومت نے زمین واپس کیوں نہیں لی؟ بتائیں آپ نے پیکجزفیکٹری کیلئے زمین کب لیزپرلی؟۔ پرویز حسن ایڈووکیٹ نے عدالت میں بتایا کہ دوفروری 1957 کو 30 سال کیلئے زمین لیزپرلی۔ چیف جسٹس ثاقب نثار نے کہا کہ کتنی زمین تھی؟۔ درخواست گزار نے جواب دیا کہ 231 کنال 19 مرلے زمین پیکجزکولیزپردی گئی۔ چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ بورڈآف ریونیو،ڈی سی کہاں ہیں؟۔ سپریم کورٹ نے ڈی سی اوربورڈآف ریونیوحکام کو 20 منٹ میں عدالت پہنچنے کاحکم جاری کر دیا ہے ۔ایڈیشنل ایڈو وکیٹ جنرل کا کہناتھا کہ مالکان 2015 سے لیزختم ہونے پرکرایہ ادانہیں کررہے۔ چیف جسٹس ثاقب نثار نے کہا کہ عدالت سرکاری اراضی کی کسٹوڈین ہے۔

چیف جسٹس ثاقب نثار نے ریمارکس دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ڈی سی کہتے ہیں لیزمیں توسیع کیلئے 4سال سے درخواست پڑی ہے۔ پرویز حسن کاکہناتھا کہ پیکیجیز مال،فیکٹری کی زمین قانونی طورپرلیزپرلی گئی۔ چیف جسٹس ثاقب نثار نے کہا کہ آپ کی لیز ابھی منسوخ کررہے ہیں، آئندہ لیزاوپن آکشن کے ذریعے دی جائےگی۔ چیف جسٹس کا کہناتھا کہ ایل ڈی اے کے سا رے پٹرول پمپس کی لیزمنسوخ کی،پہلے 15 ہزارسالانہ آتاتھااب ڈیڑھ کروڑمل رہے ہیں۔
سپریم کورٹ نے پیکجیز مال کے وکلاءکو پانچ بجے دوبارہ پیش ہونے کا حکم جاری کر دیا ہے ، چیف جسٹس نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ تیاری کےساتھ پیش ہوں،آج دودھ کادودھ پانی کاپانی کرناہے۔عدالت نے کہا کہ لیزمیں توسیع کی درخواست التوامیں رکھ کر پیکیجیز مال کوفائدہ پہنچایا گیا ۔

This Investor unfriendly environment will prevail for a while and will continue hindering progress, However some check and balances are needed to streamline the things. |

Habib sb. Grow up. We don't need these looters to be masiah. They were looters and will remain like that. If any check and balance causing unstability issues, then let it be. Justice must be served. For the last seventy years, we have lived with nazaria e zaroorat and this should stop now. |

We have become a nation corrupt to the core that is why we call this "investor unfriendly environment"...a corrupt investor that WE ALL ARE will find this environment unfriendly ...while the rest of the world has never heard of such an environment ...that is why we will never have foreign investment ...only us and we love this investor FRIENDLY environment ...That has made us a progressive nation 👎We turn any land into a real estate venture ,we invest and get hefty returns ...and we r so happy with our PREGOSS....so what if no industry is being set up ,no foreign investnt is coming in ...no one seemed worried when land s were being encroached by every tom dick and harry ,poor or rich ..didn't mater...And see how we r screaming now when some Chief Justice has just woken up and is setting the records straight ...Wish the next chief sahib brings a dose f Valium and goes to sleep so we can go back to enjoying our progress.. |

The owners of packages are the richest family - with Abida Hussain's dad owning 50000+ acres of land. Still they are looting government land. I believe LUMS is just a whitewash over the sins of these robber barrons |

Packages was always willing to renew the lease and pay the lease amount to Government but DHA wanted this land to be given to them and hence was not letting the lease to be renewed. This case was also so quickly put up for CJ notice by pressure from DHA. Packages owners are one of the very few credible businessman in Pakistan and if you treat them like this then who would be left to do business in Pakistan. May be DHAsss only. |

I agree with Nousherwaan and Truth. Packages Group is one of the capable and transparent business family investing and pulling foreign investment into the country education, jobs, training etc in all over Pakistan. People who say they can live without everyday consumables are first in line for those things and throwing tantrums on everything and first in line to leave the country after destabilizing it. |
