I took a token of rs 1 lakh against a plot in DHA lahore phase 7 and took a reciept on dealers letterhead only. NDC was applied through the agent. He is not a authorized dealer of dha so he applied through someone else. Later on I changed my mind of selling and I am willing to pay double of token but he is blackmailing me to give more amount else he would go for litigation. DHA has cancelled the NDC procedure as per my request because he applied NDC from some other dealer without my authorization.
Is there anything he can do? there is no biana given on stamp paper..only token on his company letter head.

Always aply NDC by youself never handover signed NDC to any dealer. It is lilewise you are cutting your own hands. Aur han dealer ki receiving par na tou lien mark.hota hai DHA main na he koi court of law accept karti hai. You are safe Legally and ethically you should return lac more along with original token |

Don't deal with unauthorised dealers ever. But now that it's done, you are safe and there will be no chance of litigation, dealer is just threatening you needlessly. Return two lac to the dealer/buyer and you shouldn't have an issue if the letterhead didn't say anything else. |
