Does anyone know, as to how many new house construction is started in phase 7 on a monthly basis ? I want to estimate how long it will take for Phase 7 to come to the level of Phase 7

invester, recently visited phase 6, 7 and 9 area myself for tour. I will give full detailed answer. Since my last visit which was 2 months ago, I have noticed a maybe 20% increase in new houses. All blocks have shown a lot of new construction and by estimates, T, R, P, S and U are most populated blocks at the moment - all have at least 50-60 houses under construction or completed. T seems to be the one with most houses I think. A lot more people living in phase 7 now since 2 months ago.

I think before phase 7 can reach phase 6 levels of houses and population, commercial activity has to come first like parks, masjids, sector shops, commercials themselves. So far there is only a couple of commercial building in phase 7 in Q and T block, only one masjid which is in R block and no parks or sector shops. Once all these activities arrive, then it will only be a matter of years before phase 7 reaches phase 6 levels.

It would not be before 5 - 7 years (minimum) from now that Phase-7 may reach current Phase-6 level population level. But by virtue of its location and poor layout, Phase-7 probably shall never equate Phase-6 in value and living standards.

Disagree Kamal. Phase 7 layout is fine and its location itself is not half as bad as everyone makes it to be. Excluding lower parts of lower blocks which are close to BRB canal, rest of phase 7 is almost like phase 6. In fact, I consider the rest to be part of phase 6. As for living standards, I do not know what you mean by that because there will be malls, parks, masjids within close vicinity. I don't see much difference between W block of phase 7 and L, K or F block of phase 6 other than an extra drive of 2-3 minutes. The only other difference is construction levels which is due to fact phase 7 got possession late and W block got possession even later.

And if you see map of phase 6 and 7, it will make no sense to anyone how upper portion Z1, R and P blocks are part of phase 7 when they're essentially part of phase 6 location wise. Upper portion Z1 is next to Defence Raya and opposite F block, while R block is in the middle of other blocks which are all part of phase 6 like M,N,L. Then P block is a special phase 7 block which has access to main boulevard shabbir sharif of phase 6 as well as main commercial activities. If DHA planned correctly, these three blocks should have been part of phase 6.

In living standards, phase 7 will definitely be equal to 6 but value or price wise it will always be slightly lower than 6 due to the tag of 'phase 7' and not '6'.

You can live in 5, 6, 9 etc....The final resting place is in Phase 7.
