In response to unpaid commercialization fees, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday, February 13, : LDA sealed off Commercial a number of shops and commercial buildings, according to news sources.
In order to recover commercialization fees and remove encroachments from public properties, the operation was conducted throughout the city. Numerous buildings were shut down as a result of the operation, which Asad Zaman, the LDA Chief Town Planner, oversaw. According to the sources, the operation is a component of the LDA’s anti-encroachment campaign to lessen traffic-related problems and upgrade a few roads to model one. .
It is significant to note that LDA has begun an operation to construct 9 model roads at the request of the Lahore High Court (LHC). In violation of right-of-way (RoW) regulations, numerous side road obstructions were removed at the start of the operation on Johar Town’s G-1 Market Road.
