LDA Approves PECO Road Crossing Bridge After Punjab Ombudsman Involvement
LAHORE: On Major (R) Azam Suleman Khan’s instructions, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sanctioned the construction of a crossing bridge at Peco Road. (Reported by news source)
The project, which is expected to cost Rs.78 million, will particularly help the elderly, women, and kids by giving them a quick and safe means to cross the busy road.
By assigning four gardeners and making the required repairs, the Sheikhupura administration has made steps to improve the experience of visitors to the city’s Ayesha Park. The goal of this effort was to provide a welcoming environment for the regular guests to enjoy.
Departmental proceedings under the PEEDA Act, 2006 were started against 22 officers and officials of the Jhang municipal committee as a result of the ombudsman office’s orders, which were made in response to a separate application from Tariq Aslam Sheikh of Jhang, for failing to take action against the land mafia engaged in the illegal construction and occupation of state lands, according to the spokesman.
