PDWP Approves Three Lahore Development Projects with a Total Cost of PKR 7561.473 Million
Lahore: The Punjab Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved three significant development initiatives in Lahore, with a combined estimated cost of PKR 7561.473 million. This decision was reported in a leading newspaper on January 3, following a meeting chaired by Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, the Chairman of the Planning & Development (P&D) Board, and attended by Muzaffar Khan Sial, the Secretary of the P&D Board.
The approved schemes include:
- Construction of a Signal-Free Corridor from Karim Market to Motorway (M-2) Phase-I, with an estimated cost of PKR 2975.034 million.
- Construction of a Flyover and Underpass at Ghahri Shahu Chowk to address traffic congestion issues, at PKR 3951.469 million.
- Conservation and Upgradation of Shrines and Mosques in Uch Sharif, along with the development of the Pilgrim Trail, approved at PKR 635 million.
