Sunder INdusrial Estate is almost complete and will open soon.

Sunder Industrial is GOOD NEWS for the economy because new factories and mills will be set up , BUT it is BAD NEWS for the residents of BAHRIA TOWN. Who wants to live next to an Industrial area where there will be chemical pollution from the factories? Knowing very well that there is no control on the enviromental regulations in Pakistan. The factories will emit gases and smoke which will effect the residents who live near the factories.DO you know that many of these gases are extremely harmful especially to young kids and pregnant women?

I suggest that BAHRIA TOWN RESIDENTS shoudl start looking at other places.
Nadeem Iqbal.

Dear CMY ,
Thanks for this information. would u please tell us little bit more where exactly this industrial estate is? what is the exact distance from sector B and safari villas ?
Nadeem Iqbal sabib has a valid point here but i would say in Pakistan Ganga always flows in opposite direction. so what i mean is that a negative point may prove positive for the bahria town residents as this industrial estate will bring a lot of activity in this area and can compensate the isolation of BT as per its location for many investors. Time will decide however, how it goes. If environmental control authorities do their job ,then it should not be problem at all. I would request Mr.CMY to convey this concern to higher authorities of BT who i believe r in a position to deal with it well ahead of time. thanks

Nadeem Iqbal Sahib, People like to live where the jobs are. Whether you like it or not but people like to live as close to job as possible.

Place like pakistan where tarnportation is not as good as western contries, residential close to work place is a big plus. But anyway, Bahria Town is close to Sunder Industrial Estae but not next door to Sunder Industrial Estate, atleast 5 KM from Sunder Industrial Estate. The main benificiries of Sunder Industrial Estate would be BT, NFC-2 (NFC-2 is even more closer to Sunder Industrial Estate than BT), Sui gas-2, AWT-2.

In fact this is a very good news for housing socities that are close to Sunder industrial Estate, as this would speed up the process of populating the area.

To my understanding, even close by residential schemes will also not have any problem because mostly, pharmaceutical industries are being setup in that area which will not pose any major threat to the atmosphere.

Bahria Town is approximately 7-8 KM from Sundar Industrial Estate.Sui Gas 2 and NFC 2 will be approximately 5-6 KM from Bahria Town.Bahria Town is the closest housing scheme fully developed and livable with all modern facilities.
Many hundred well to do owners and managers along with labor force would like to live close to this Sundar Industrial estate.Bahria Town would be their first choice and the only developed scheme.NFC 2 and Sui Gas 2 are closer but they are still on paper/maps.

Thousands jobs are coming closer to Bahria Town next year.

Today I have also learned some plots in Sector C Gulbahar block may have possession as early as this month.Overseas Cat A will be next and Get ready for more possessions in next 3 to 9 months for most sector C files.Just learned from some sources still need conformation from high ups.

i dnt agree nadeem iqbal.

firstly pollution is not made like you think, look at model town and township ethy are hardly effected by kot lakput

and secondly most of the industrys there will be non-polluting ones like textile mills, garment units, stitching units, pharmactuical firms etc.
