Fatehjang is linked via Rail and one arrives to Rawalpindi Cantt station only in about 35 minutes.
It is a Tehsil of District Attock and has a Teshsil Headquarter hospital. Separate girls and boys colleges. A cadet college is also located here.
Fatehjang Islamabad road is now under the supervision of NHA (national highway authority). Fatehjang has its own gas supply.
