I am please to let know all my freinds Bahria Town have announced in todays newspapers they will issue allotment letters to all members of sector C Lahore with all 10 paid installment paid.

We at Lahore Real Estate have been working very hard from last one year to convince Bahria Town top management that an allotment letter must be given to each plot holder to make them comfortable that their plot number and map wont change in future. Non issuance of plot numbers in writing was driving away 100s of buyers daily. This issue was too important in my eyes and in every meeting with bahria town I requested them to consider this step and start issuing the allotment letters.I wish they have done it sooner because this issue was causing too much distrust.

One a allotment letter is given you are legally protected that your plot WILL STAY YOURS. In other housing schemes like DHA Lahore an allotment letter is only issued after all charges are paid including development charges. If allotments letter are issued by Bahria Town management for Lahore sector C it also indicate their will not be any further development charges. It is not gaurenteed that that will be no further develoopment charges on sector C but if I look at other major players in housing market they only issue an allotment letter after all development charges have been paid. Only Bahria Town management can make it clear if any further development charges will be imposed or not.I am just guessing looking at other HS examples they may not imposes them after issuing allotment letters.

In my opinion its will be great plus for buyers to have allotment letter at time transfers or if they already have full paid plots its a must that you visit Bahria town sector C office in Bahria Town Lahore and get your allotment letter asap.
Before we were having great difficulty. People were told plot numbers verbally only and buyers were very uncomfortable with only verbal conformation of plot numbers because it was possible that their plot numbers could change after passage of some time. Now with allotment letter bahria Town give you guaranty that plot numbers will stay same. map will stay same and you are legal owner of this plot.with this great step I think Bahria Town Lahore all sectors price should start gaining very well. This refusal of giving plot numbers in writing was a major factor that kept prices of sector C depressed for long time and prices in sector c fail to rise even when DHA Lahore and all other housing schemes gained well in past 3 months. I want to say thanks to Bahria Town for this veri good step in right direction.

Dear CMY,

Could you please divert some of your energies and efforts to convince Bahria Town to rationalise unrealistic development charges imposed in Bahria Phase VIII ???? Regards

What is the fault of the people who has paid 10 installments but whose plots are at good location in Azalea and Lavendus. They will be forced by Bahria to take plots in Iris and Nargis.

Most plots with Bahria available as developed plots are from Iris and Nargis and probably many people will get plots in Iris and Nargis after returning good plot locations in Azalea and Lavendus.
At one stage Iris and Nargis were least prefered locations and I am also not sure if high tension power line is still passing over it or Bahria had it removed (most probabaly it is still there).

Bahria should give these people a choice to select an appropriate plot rather than a reballot. Bahria is again not fair and putting the burden of their follies on its allottees by this new offer.

Allotment letter of Bahria Town is a joke and it is like a day light robbery. At the time of giving allotment letter, Bahria Town will make you sign an agreement in which you not only authorize Bahria Town to change the location of your plot, you also agree to pay whatever demand they may have in future. After getting paid for the plots, Bahria Town still does not want you to have complete ownership rights. Recently issued allotment certificate for phase 8 is an example of their shrewd tactics. Nature of this allotment certificate is provisional and terms and conditions listed on the backside are not fair. Of course, buyers who have made all the payments had waited long time only to succumb to their demands in the end.
