Kaisrani sb, we reckon you as an authority on Bahria Town, Lahore now.Could you please tell that what is the exact situation of Shaheen block now as far as the population of the block is concerned.I am talking only about Shaheen Block, that should not include safari villas.How many houses have already been constructed and people are living there and how many are still underconstruction.just a rough idea if you could.Also do you find some trend of people moving to that area from residential point of view.Be specific about Shaheen Block please.Thanks

I did see your post (NO.40561) and thought that its NOT meant for me as you reckoned some Kaisrani, an authority on Bahria Town Lahore. I have very limited information but I have advantage of living here. Besides this I happily spare time to provide information helpfull to others. This is my status.
In one of my previous posts I mentioned that the question related to population in Bahria Town Sector B is now outdated. One of LRE member rightfully objected that it will never be outdated. First it was asked whether it is possible to live there and then it will be asked what the situation is over there when properly populated. I agreed with the brother.
The construction in Shaheen Block Sector B, Bahria Town Lahore is on full swing. There are few homes (arround 20) where families have been moved but underconstruction homes are around 100 if not more. Almost every next day one new home's construction is started. Meaning Shaheen Block will be having at least 300 homes within year 2009.
Nowadays it is difficult to find Safari Villas on rent or sale. The demand is still there so the buyers are switching over to Shaheen Block which is located more good than Safari Block or other blocks of Bahria Town Sector B. |

Sorry to disoppoint you that Ghori and Usman blocks in Sector B, Bahria Town are NOT very much attracting to the owners for construction. In both blocks construction and living can be seen but it is not significant. |
