I appreciate the opinion of Mr. Pardesi and appreciate his effort to throw light on this aspect of Pak economy. Dollar is about to see a downward trend, because many people purchased the Dollars in the hope of earning on it, but when they will see that it is going down day by day they would again be panicky, as the Pakistani psyche is, and rush for selling the Dollars. This all dollar hype was artificial and cannot last longer. It is not an investment at all. The real investment is investment in the real estate. It can disappoint you in the short run, but it is the real thing in the long run.

Thanks Mr. Pardesi, the link was very useful. I never knew that there are other good forex companies in Lahore other than KK. I totally agree with Mr. Iqbal, the dollar will not come back to 60 but it can easily trade between 75-80 in coming weeks when the IMF loan is given and Friends of Pakistan countries will give oil/cash that solely help in foreign exchange. This is the critical time when realestate can gain in some good areas such as DHA and others as well. The wise investor would be investing in good deals in DHA such as in phases where plots are given and not just files becaus ethey appreciate sooner than files. This is just my opinion and I would appreciate comments of others who think that there are other good options available. Please note that bank term deposits bear a heavy risk for default when people put their life term savings in banks where liquidity crunch is already happening. Believe me if KK can default, any Pakistan financial institute can default to.
