NFC is a cooperative society as compare to Bahria Town that is a private developer. In a cooperative society management is not an owner, they are just an elected person (elected by members of society, in other words elected by plot owners) that are responsible for running the society affairs with the consent of plot owners. Elections are held, I believe every year, for the management. On the other hand BT is a private developer which has an owner (Malik Riaz, NOT an elected person). BT has open hands to make all deals as they wish, but NFC management can't do anything without the consent of members. So your concern of underhand deal of Malik sb with NFC management is totally wrong. If there is going to be any deal between NFC and BT, it will be with the consent of plot holders (nothing underhand), and I am sure NFC plot owner won’t approve any deal with BT unless it is beneficial to NFC plot holders. |
