I saw your previous post too, as a matter of fact Commercial activities are booming more in Valancia than residential activities, You are right there are only about 1500 Familes living in Valancia about 2 years back this number was 1000, But there are lot more offices in Valancia now, and most are dealing in about 20 Surrounding societies, strting from Nasheman 2 to LDA avenue 1 and all societies on Defence Road and WAPDA So there is huge business market. That will stay for next 35 years, That is why people are more interested in Commercial in Valancia, At the same time WAPDA did not commercilize its main as it is small. And They had defective Town Planning as regards Commercial areas were concerened. Bigger chains and property offices are not interested in sector shops so you have seen Gourmet opened in Valancia instaed of WAPDA, In near future I anticipate more commercial activities in Valancia then residential Recently two big Plazas were erected. This trend is just opposite of WAPDA town where you have lots of houses but less Shops |
