Does DHA allows to open/rent a an office in residential House, If no alteration in Plan etc are made. one of my friend want to rent one floor of house to a construction firm, who want to display the board on that villa.
Does someone have experience of that sort, connected to the same can a doctor Practice in his own house in DHA, As my friend is owning residential property but it has very good landmarks and close to Commercial, If such semicommercial use is permitted then he is planning to leave bigger space for 4,5 car parking

Actually no use other than residential is allowed in the residential premises.Some people do operate their personal offices or clinics in their homes but renting out in whole or part for business purposes is not allowed & DHA does take a serious note of it if they come to know of it. |

Opening of office or clinics is strictly prohibited and enforced by DHA Lahore. There are very tough rules about what one can do even in commercial properties. Be careful and don't try to open a clinic in a house. You could face very large fines and other major actions if you rent your house for commercial use to any one. |

Please request your friend, for the sake of our future generations to not open a commercial entity , by hook or by crook, in a house in DHA. I fear the plaza-fications of our peaceful neighbourhoods.
