Go online and try to find something for fifteen days. Usually, a basement should be available for Can $ 700 for a month. There could be few Pakistani families planning to visit Pakistan during Decmeber, they could rent out their place for fifteen days. One idea could be ask someone you know in Toronto to find some arrangement for you. It will be very cold in Toronto at this time of the day, so prepare accordingly before you land. If you plan to land as permanent resident, it is always good to share accomodation with someone as you will require a correspondence address for sorting out initial formalities such as PR card, Health Card, Bank Accounts etc. All these documentations would require you a correspondence address where they will send document after month or two.
