In UAE, as per the law passports cannot be retianed by the Employer, bieng a property of Pakistan Govt. On the contrary most of the UAE employers keep the passports with them which is against the UAE LAW and has become a standard practice. There are very few sectors like Banking and high profile jobs where employers do not retain the passport. |
