Yes it is normal practice to collect original letter later, but other option was to pay 6000 urgent fees and get it same day, Possibly dealer did not tell you this option as he was planning to fool you. Regarding 21 merla you had been fooled, there must be some other outstanding charges which Dealer reverted to you, But then onwards if you had been paying 175000, that surplus amount is with DHA and can be adjusted, Looks you lost 75000 which you paid 1st time to DHA, As seller was responsible to clear all dues before that. Once I encountered similar situation I bought the plot in 30 lac I had to pay 30 lac to seller, but 321000 out standing amount was outstanding on that plot. My delaer "misguided" me saying you better clear this amount and make pay order of 26,79000 in favor of seller, I told him that I shall make only single 30,00000 Pay order in his favor, why should I clear dues for the plot which still belong to someone else. He siad what difference does it make it is matter of trust of 2 days, I said Ok you Pay I shall give you in 2 days. He said it was not a problem but I dont have this much cash in my hand, I told him laughing how much you have 1 lac? Give me I shall put rest from my side, Finally it was done in same way I wanted. Always remember to clear all dues is resposibilty of seller. Pick a phone and at least ring your delaer to ask what did he do. |
