Dear Asim you better sell this house to Qatri Banker, I guess it is V good Price for 10 years old House, Possibly House may be well maintained but Canal view is no more a well maintained society I visted few months Back it is looking mediocre area now, 8 years back same was looking like posh area but could not maintain as good society, Though Location is great but higher end customers may not be attracted anymore, I saw a very beautifil house of 10 Merla and demand ws 63 lac Could not Finalize, reason was it was closer to Hingerwal and was not looking even good middle class area. |

Thanks for your advice! My house is situated close to Main Gate of Canal View Coop Housing Society Off Canal Road not the Hanjerwal side(Multan Road Entrance). The price of plot in Canal View A Block on the back of main road 4 Kanal Plots , the average price for 1 Kanal plot is Rs. 9.5 Mn to Rs.10Mn. And for example if we take the cost of construction Rs1000/- for 5000 Sqft covered area. The Cost would be 5Mn + 10Mn= 15Million(Approx)I may be wrong as I am not a real estate broker or buider.But you have the right to explain your point. |

Asim Bhai, Plots in DHA-5 are as low as 70 lakh and in DHA-6 as low as 42 lakhs. One can easily buy one kanal plot in DHA and build brand new house, and still cost would be less than your demand price for the house that is 10 years old.
After all DHA is a status symble in Lahore. I would 2nd Jameel and would recommend that you sell this house at the price offered, before buyres change his mind. |

Also price of 9.5-10 Million that you have provided, that was the price when real esate market was booming in Lahore, 3 years ago. At that time prices of one Kanal in DHA-5 was also as high as Crore, now the same plots are avaibale at 70-100 Lakh in DHA-5. |
